Jessica cox never saw her not having arms as an obstacle to achieving her goals. She even ditched the prosthetic arms she wore from the age of three to 14 because she believed her feet her tactile enough. That's why when she wanted to become a licenced pilot, she found a way. Cox found a specific plans with less controls so she could have her feet in convenient positions; she flies a 1945 Cope airplane. Cox gained her pilot license in 2008, after three years of training, 80 hours of flying in three different states, three different flight instructors, and three different airplanes. Cox also swims, plays piano and practices Taekwondo-she's is the first armless blackbelt in the American Taekwondo Association.

Brown told ABC News that, even though she experienced symptoms, she couldn’t believe she was pregnant.

“After being married for 22 years, it wasn’t really coming up being pregnant,” Brown told the station. “It was not really there in my mind.”

Gesci, a pediatrician at the hospital, said it’s extremely rare for women not to know they’re pregnant — but entirely plausible.

“People don’t know sometimes or they’re in denial about it and denial can be pretty strong,” Gesci said.

Brown’s baby, named Carolyn Rose, came out a healthy 8 pounds, 2 ounces.

There’s never any way to be fully prepared when you have a baby, but 24 hours isn’t a lot of time. Brown had to borrow a bassinet and a car seat just to leave the hospital.

This was her first child.

If you're a sportsperson and good at your sport, obviously your fans will love and cheer you. But if you're opponents also love and applaud you, especially after you've just pummelled the daylights out of their team, then you're definitely doing something right. 

There's a reason why AB de Villiers is hailed as the 360 degree batsman and it's not just because he can hit the ball all around the park; it's because he's adored and respected all around the globe.
